As part of the Traditional Children’s Stories for a Common Future – TRACE project, in cooperation with the Zagreb City Libraries, the National and University Library in Zagreb held a series of workshops for children aged six to 12 at the Selčina Library last year. The workshops covered the Croatian story Froggy Girl, and students from 2nd grade of Luka Elementary School from Sesvete participated by interpreting the story with their art works.
One of the results is a workshop and a puppet show performed by members of the Puppetry Section of the Selčina Library. Librarians and teachers who do not formally participate in the Project participated in the workshops as well. Their cooperation has contributed to the implementation of certain project activities, thus supporting the dissemination and sustainability of the Project by introducing students to selected traditional stories of the countries participating in the Project.
